I have been involved in the insurance industry since 1983. Over this time I have built up long-term friendships with many clients. I enjoy being able to assist in planning the security of aspects of people’s lives and to be there to help when things go wrong. We are now dealing with the next generation of our original clients and it is very satisfying to have that relationship of trust. My philosophy has always been to treat others with respect and provide the best possible service and advice so we can maintain a long-term relationship. That way we all benefit. Our aim is to be the one contact for all of our clients’ insurance needs, making it easier for them to get on with their lives knowing that things are taken care of. ‘Thinking of insurance? Think of us.’ I intend to continue developing this business into the future and having a like-minded team around me to carry on the caring.

I have over 5 years experience in the insurance industry and 15 years in banking previously. Helping clients with their insurances is something I am very passionate about. Working with Bruce and the team at The Advisers allows me to offer so much more than my past career ever did.  It gives me the ability to personalise and tailor products and services specific to each individual client. I have two children and I know the importance of a work/life balance and also how important it is to protect what is most dear.  Often it's the little things that get pushed aside in life.  Sometimes we need to stop and take a moment to enjoy these things and spend a little time ensuring they are protected against the unforeseen.Call me as I would love to help with your insurance need.Look after yourselves today so you will be looked after tomorrow.

Initially I worked in banking in various places throughout the North Island, progressing to the insurance industry in 1999. Working with The Advisers sees me looking after people throughout the country but primarily in Central Taranaki. I’m in the business of helping my customers achieve their financial goals by offering advice that takes into account their individual situation. I like to help my customers make decisions that are the right choices for them. I am married and have two adult children. I am involved in local community organisations, namely Rotokare Scenic Reserve Trust, Eltham Lions and South Taranaki Underwater Club.

Most of my working life has been focused on customer service. Having 2 daughters and a husband has trained me well in listening to and considering others needs. Joining The Advisers in January 2008 introduced me to the insurance industry and I love coming to work each day. I enjoy a challenge and love problem solving for our clients; thinking outside the square to achieve the right solution for their situation.

I have recently moved from Brisbane where I spent the last 4 years living and working within the property valuation industry. Although Australia was lovely it was time to move home. With my Husband and three children all packed we relocated back to our home town New Plymouth. I was lucky enough to join this great team in August 2014. Working in the insurance industry is a big change for me, but one I am keen to master making sure our customer’s needs are met adequately. I have been in customer service all my working life and enjoy the various challenges this role presents. Building my knowledge of the industry will help me provide the best advice and service.

My background has been providing business support services. I spent 12 years working as an Office Facilities Manager for a UK National Museum. In 2003 I moved to the South West of England when my husband and I purchased two retail businesses. This gave me great insight into the complexities of operating your own business. With the recession hitting the UK I closed my businesses and made the move with my family to New Zealand. Having never been to New Zealand before it was a major challenge to integrate and adapt to the Kiwi style of living. With my role at The Advisers as client support I have been able to use my many years of experience to enhance the service we provide to our clients.

My background has been working within the finance and insurance industries. I have over 15 years experience, the last 10 years was spent working in various roles at ASB Bank, from Customer Service Officer through to Branch Manager. I needed to make a life change after having my two daughters, so I sought out a challenging part time role, so that I could spend more time with my family, yet still work within the industries that I love. It is a privilege to have joined the team at The Advisers in a business support role. Ensuring our clients receive the best possible service and assistance is my number one priority and I enjoy building relationships with our clients. Building long standing relationships, getting to know our clients and providing honest and expert advice is what sets The Advisers apart in the industry. I previously worked in the print media industry over a number of years where I held different job roles over this period building up a diverse range of skills and experience. I joined the team at The Advisers late last year as client support. It is refreshing to be working in a new industry this has broaden my insight on the importance of ensuring that you have the right cover in place that suits your situation. The big plus at the advisers you have access to a local team of professionals that you can contact anytime.  I am proud to be part of a team that’s passionate about what they do - working with each client to reach the best option that works for them.
